NAME

col2fasta - convert col format to fasta format

 

SYNOPSIS

col2fasta

[-m] [file]

 

DESCRIPTION

col2fasta changes col format to fasta format. Input is either from file or stdin. The output is sent to stdout.

col2fasta can also reverse the sequence to output the antisense sequnce.

 

OPTIONS

col2fasta accepts the following option.

-m

--minus

Output the antisense DNA string instead of the one in the col file. RNA is converted to DNA.

 

EXAMPLES

Make fasta file from col file:

col2fasta foo.col

Make antisense fasta file from col file:

col2fasta -m foo.col
