A functional relationship between Flhf and SRP is unproved.

CaM kinase II

A region identical to amino acid residue positions 315 to 548 of human SRP72 was identified in a truncated isoform of human Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II, designated gamma-SRP (Accession NP_001213). Since the human SRP72 and the CaM kinase II gamma genes are located on different chromosomes (chromosome 18 and 10q22, respectively) this cDNA may be the result of trans-splicing.
